I think I was subconsciously inspired by my ceramics class—I originally planned to illustrate the deep focus and posture I have when shaping pieces, but I couldn’t quite bring the idea to life. Then, I started thinking about the painting class next door, with its massive 6-foot-tall easels! That vision sparked the idea of a peaceful day indoors—windows open, the fresh scent of paint in the air, and a cozy outfit perfect for creating. Everything clicked into place, and I got to work right away. I also made sure the elements were large enough to be painted with any medium of choice.

A cozy couch and a laid-back atmosphere felt like the perfect touch! When I read, I love being snug, listening to relaxing music, and fully immersing myself in the moment.
